Bell Acres Municipal Park
Located at the corner of Big Sewickley Creek Road and Hitzel Hill Road.
Hours of operation are from sunrise to sunset.

  • 2 basketball courts
  • Sand volley ball court
  • 3 age centered play areas with swings and slides
  • Large asphalt area for children to ride bikes and roller blade
  • Shelter with picnic tables (first come first serve basis)


  • Bell Acres Nature Park
    Located at the corner of Turkeyfoot Road and Sevin Road.
    Hours of operation are from sunrise to sunset.


    This is a non-traditional borough park with over 200 acres which can be used for hiking, birdwatching, etc. The park also contains the Bell Acres Trail which was created with a joint effort of the Quaker Valley High School Earthforce 2001 Group and Bell Acres Borough. The trail is 3/4 mile long and ends at the Merriman House foundation. The Merriman Family is believed to be the first settlers in the area.

    There are no facilities located at this park.


    * Bell Acres was very fortunate to have all of this land donated by The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. This land will remain parkland in perpetuity.
